Just 16 miles from Tallahassee, Florida, in the historic town of
Quincy, the McFarlin House Bed and Breakfast is the perfect place to
stay or celebrate your many different travel needs.
Enter an era of time past as you step onto the Southern, wrap-around
porch, through the double beveled doors. Warm, inviting hospitality
awaits you in this beautifully restored, Queen-Anne Victorian bed
and breakfast. The McFarlin House Bed and Breakfast is located in
the heart of the 32-block Historic District of Quincy, Florida, just
16 miles NW of Tallahassee. Your bed and breakfast accommodations
are close enough to the city for convenience, yet far enough away
for perfect relaxation and comfort.
Established in 1995, the original restoration of the inn introduced
modern baths, a new electrical system, interior fire sprinkler
system, emergency lighting, and central heat and air conditioning.
Today all guestrooms are comfortably appointed with either queen or
king sized beds, and new, high-quality mattresses, private
bathrooms, some with Jacuzzi tubs, cable TV, and private-line
telephones.
The McFarlin House sits on approximately 1.5+ acres of grounds that
are in constant seasonal change with a large variety of camellias,
brilliant pink Japanese Magnolia trees, day lilies, jasmine,
gladiolas, hydrangeas, crepe myrtle trees, a leather leaf mahogany,
and a grand Gingko tree.
