Wow, have times sure changed. This room properly named “Gentlemen’s Quarters”, once hosted lively after dinner events for the gentlemen who attended a dinner party. Where lots of business, as well as “non” business conversations filled this room. Original burn marks can still be seen on the fireplace mantle from when Mr. McFarlin enjoyed the fruits of his Tobacco harvests. We’re happy to allow women entrance into this grand room. This room is the only guest room that is located on the main floor and is perfect for older clientele who may have difficulty climbing stairs or for those who are handicapped. First floor, private in-room bathroom with shower, king size bed, fireplace, full-breakfast, Cable TV., telephone w/computer hookup capability, complimentary amenities in Courtesy Room. $110.00 plus tax. Don’t forget to add an amenities package to make your stay even more enjoyable. Packages start at just $30.00. Coffee mugs, tee shirts, magnets, cookbooks and Bed & Breakfast books are available too.
